On September 10th. 2015, YANG Zhigang, Director of Shantou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, investigated and surveyed Guangdong Golden Leaf to comprehend technology innovations of the Company.

As the earliest technology production enterprise that is committed to R&D on industrialization of paper-making reconstituted tobacco in China, Guangdong Golden Leaf has long placed “technology-driven” as the core strategy of corporate development. Based on the traditional reconstituted tobacco leaf technology, the Company carries out the “second technology updating”, selects the technology center as the carrier and sets up an open-source research platform to actively carry out various types of scientific research activities jointly with enterprises in China Tobacco Industry, scientific research institutions and friendship enterprises.  

Jointly construct associated laboratories. Guangdong Golden Leaf established associated laboratories jointly with Anhui Branch of China National Tobacco Corporation and other enterprises. So far, 2 projects have been approved, 5 more projects and 1 research topic have been determined for approval.

Jointly apply for key laboratory of the State Tobacco Bureau. Guangdong Golden Leaf has jointly applied for key laboratory of the State Tobacco Bureau with Guangdong Branch of China National Tobacco Corporation and now the project goes well.

Set up branches of Technology Center. So far, Guangdong Golden Leaf has reached the intention of cooperation with South China University of Technology (SCUT) to set up a branch of Technology Center at SCUT and to carry out various university-enterprise cooperative research projects based on this.
