Funing, Sheyang and other areas in Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province were stricken by strong lightning, short-term heavy rainfall, hailstones, thunderstorms and other severe convection weather and some areas were attacked by tornado around 15:00 P.M. June 23rd. By 9:00 A.M. June 24th, the disaster had caused 98 deaths in total (among whom, 97 were in Funing County while 1 in Sheyang County) and 846 injuries, of whom, 152 were severely injured and 10 were critically injured. At 8:00 A.M. June 25th, Yancheng Chunzhu employees organized an activity themed by “Showing Empathy for Funing Stricken Area, Chunzhu Raises Donations to Express Love” to raise money and pray for the brothers’ and sisters’ well-being in the stricken areas.

The employees who came to donate stood in a long queue on the site. In face of the disaster, Chunzhu employees would like to do their bit for the people in stricken areas and bring them with warm and care.
